Chowhound reports Shangri-La has arrived in JaxHts

...they serve these fried empanada looking things, and steamed and fried momos (beef dumplings), 8 for $5 plus chicken or beef over rice or pita (halal-style). momos were aight, but, the hot sauce was phenonemenal; tasted vaguely herbal, ginger-y, lots of flavor. a bit expensive at $5 and I didn't try the beef or chicken (esp. since sammy's is right nearby) but, that hot sauce is great...
